Dr. Ann Gordon visited THS from Rutgers University on October 25th to give her lecture “What’s Equality Got to Do with It? Elizabeth Cady Stanton Takes on the Election”
Dr. Gordon will trace the links between Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony – whose work in the 19th century in Tenafly led to the right of women to vote – with the nomination by a major political party of the first woman to run for president.
