Here are snapshots of recent/future activities going on in and around Tenafly High School's bustling library media center:

- The president and CEO of a leading broadcast equipment manufacturer tours our Media Production Lab, Television Control Room, and TV Studio

- US Army representative sets up display in library's open TV studio and talks to students.

- Students participating in the Telecommunications and Multimedia Club help setup newly donated computer/video equipment - monthly technical evaluations regarding performance to be submitted to donor.

- Basketball games broadcast LIVE to the community via THS-TV Channel 77 (Cablevision) directly from the Red Littler Gymnasium.

- THS-TV launches slow motion replay technique for basketball games!

- H.S.A. uses library as meeting place. Invites guest speaker.

-Tenafly Educational Foundation to meet in library this month to discuss proposals.

- US Air Force representative sets up display in library's open TV studio and talks to students.

- Ms. Barker's guest speaker, George S. Burkes, WWII European theater veteran speaks to her US History 2 classes using library space as backdrop - Event broadcast to community live. Also taped and encoded for Internet streaming.

- 21 very excited seniors from Mr. Morrison's American Mind honors class busily completed assigned video projects.

- A video production showcasing the school for incoming students completed for high school principal, Dr. Kontogiannis.

- Daily morning announcement television broadcasts to all homerooms at 9:40 a.m. involving over 25 students in production.

- A 24/7 electronic message board broadcast over the Internet and to the town of Tenafly via Cablevision channel 77.

- Several videoconferences set up and monitored between Mrs. Welfel's Spanish classes and Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

- Mr. Scanlon's Anime club film festival using Academic Theater for evening fundraiser.

- Editing of several commercials for the Tux Show - a senior class fundraiser.

- Senior video yearbook editing in media production lab.

- Mrs. Acocella's Family and Consumer Affairs students bring toddlers in to check out picture books.

- Several classes visit for library orientation.
