The Van Vliet Academic Theatre
With fine surround sound and large clear image, content presented in this room leaves a lasting impression on our students!

This room is equipped with an oversized 9' x 12' screen to give a "mini-I-max" feel, twelve 6' x 1 1/2 foot meeting style tables that can be arranged in various configurations to include "classroom style", "hollow square", "conference", etc.  In addition, the classroom has been outfitted with a teaching station to the right of the screen with all equipment wired to a Sharp C30 ceiling mounted projector, and a full amplification system.  With fine surround sound and large clear image, content presented in this room leaves a lasting impression on our students!

Directions for use: 

NOTE: PC is situated in the black rack of equipment and may need to be turned on if using.

1. The florescent lights need to be OFF to turn the projector ON.  Remote control will not function with lights on.
2. Using the SHARP remote control, aim it towards the projector and push the ON button.  A set of red lights under the projector indicate that is has turned on.  It takes 2 minutes for projector to reach its full brightness.
3. Using the SHARP remote control, look for the INPUT button - select as desired.  As you push the INPUT button you will cycle through three inputs as indicated on screen.
INPUT 1 = PC / MAC / VISUAL PRESENTER / EXTERNAL (use keyboard on top of TV to switch video source and use black audio amplifier in rack to switch audio source - all labeled)
INPUT 2 = DVD / VCR (Use black audio amplifier in rack to switch video / audio source) 
input 3  = not in use
4. TURN OFF PROJECTOR AT END OF CLASS.
